The Abundance Project creates equitable access to exquisite birth and postpartum doula care in Boulder County and surrounding communities. We provide partial financial sponsorships for doula care to families with economic and access challenges.
The Abundance Project is committed to removing economic, racial, and ethnic disparities in maternal healthcare.
We partner with our sister organization, Sanctuary Doulas, who provides birth and postpartum doula care. We believe this care can have the most profound impact with exquisite birth doula care in hospitals, birth centers, and home settings, as well as postpartum care in families homes. Some services are also available virtually.
Our long term vision is to create a model for maternal healthcare that can be implemented in other communities across Colorado, and the United States, while designing research to help show doula care's efficacy as an integral part of the maternal care system.
We are planting the seeds so that this model may grow - abundantly.
We encourage The Abundance Project Sponsorship Application to be completed by …

-
families in financial need (who qualify for Medicaid and other assistance programs)
-
single mothers with no family support
-
mothers of diverse, underserved races and ethnicities
We believe that our abundance is to be shared with others! Birth and postpartum doula care is healthcare, not a luxury.
When a family’s application is accepted, the family pays their chosen financial contribution toward their care. We also encourage every family who applies to invite extended family and friends to give the gift of doula care at www.sanctuarydoulas.com/gift-cards.
The Abundance Project sponsorships are available to families on a first come, first serve basis from many generous donations from folks all over our community and beyond.
